Permissions matrix

Every permission a role can get in Animanager, and what each of its levels allows. There are 29 of them. The page is generated at every build of the guide from the permission catalog of the app, so a new permission or a renamed level shows up here on its own.

  • Levels go from 0, no access, to 3. Each level includes the ones below it: a role that can Moderate a chat can also view it and write in it.
  • A permission offers only the levels that make sense for it. A dot (·) marks a level it does not have.
  • A role gets the levels of the roles below it, plus what you give it, and you can take a level away from one role only. The Owner has every level of every permission, and its role can't be edited.
  • Which levels each role has is up to each studio: see them in Settings → Studio → Roles & permissions. How to change them is in Roles and permissions.
  • Project permissions work only in the projects whose audience lets the role in. A space can set a role's levels higher or lower inside it, but can't let in a role its project leaves out.

Studio permissions

They apply to the whole studio. You set them on the Studio access tab of a role.
