Illustrations of the real interface, with the fictional short "Greenhouse". Everything runs in the browser except work files, which Desktop Helper brings to your computer.
Step 1 · Pipeline
List the stages a shot goes through and how they connect. They become the columns of your grid.
Storyboard, layout, animation, lighting, comp. Add or remove what you need.
A stage feeds the next one with what it publishes.
Save the pipeline for the next sequence or project.
Step 2 · Tree Grid
Shots are rows, stages are columns and every dot is a status. Open the work from its cell.
Grey is not started, blue in progress, purple in review, green done.
Badges mark the stages with new activity.
Click a shot or stage to see its chat, versions and files.
Step 3 · Timeline
Assign stages to artists and set estimates. The plan follows the grid, not a spreadsheet.
Drag a stage onto an artist and set the hours. Estimates can come from similar work.
Unassigned stages wait in a queue the whole team can see.
Artists log time on their revisions, next to the estimate.
Step 4 · Work files
A revision keeps the work file and everything it uses. Desktop Helper brings it to the artist, and the Blender add-on publishes the next one.
One click brings the file, rigs, libraries and textures.
Publish from Blender with the preview and the time spent.
Older revisions stay on the shot with their files.
Step 5 · Chat in context
Every shot and stage has its own chat. Approvals, questions and new versions stay next to the work.
Each new version appears in the chat with its files and preview.
The lead answers on the stage. The next artist reads it first.
Messages show a translation and keep the original.
Step 6 · Review
Draw on the frame and compare it with the last version. Clients leave notes through a link, without a seat.
Notes stay on the exact frame, ready for the next version.
See two versions side by side.
Protect them with a password and an expiry date.

Step 7 · Live and delivery
See each artist's Blender window, updated every minute, and deliver approved work from the project. The render farm is available on request.
Send frames to your own machines and follow them on the stage. Available on request.
A capture of each artist's Blender window, every minute.
Approved versions are already in the project. Just share them.
